WALKS WITH PURPOSE
If you love walking in nature and connecting with others via conversations about meaning, depth psychology, the nature of the universe, philosophy, personal growth, etc, let’s walk together.
The intention of Walks with Purpose is to create a container for an emergent experience, in other words, it’s a loose structure allowing for synchronicity, spontaneity, and surprises.
There’s no charge for the walks however we understand the importance of reciprocity and so encourage you to pay it forward by making a donation to one of the charities we’ve nominated.
How it works:
organise a spot to meet for a great walk and put the word out
help organise ride-sharing where possible
lightly facilitate a very brief intention-setting invitation at the start of the walk
lightly facilitate a group chat about the experience at the end.

bring your own weather protection, food and drinks, intention for the walk, and anything else you like to bring for walking in nature

FIRST WALK FOR 2023

Meet in the car park at 10am
Our first walk is the beautiful Mount Lofty, starting at the car park at Wittons Reserve, in Wonga Park.
It’s a relatively easy walk (although the climb uphill at the start is a bit tough but not long) with beautiful views and time along the river banks – around 5-6km all up.
We’ll meet in the car park at 10am, gather for a quick intention-setting, then get walking. You can walk alone, chat with others, a bit of both, whatever feels right for you. At the end of the walk, we’ll all grab our food and sit, eat and reflect on the experience together.
Allow around 3hrs for the whole thing.
Please don’t bring pets.
